Using the trigonometric ratio we get

Sin "50\\degree=\\frac{h}{l}"


"h=lsin 50\\degree"

=(170m)"sin 50\\degree"

"h=130.2m"

The height of the balloon relative to the ground,to the nearest metre is therefore "130m"
