The shape of the earth
The earth is flattened at its poles, and the equators bulged out which make the geodesy to present the earth shape as ablating spheroid. This shape is mainly observed when an eclipse rotated on its shorter axis. The oblate form is the shape of almost all planet in the world. Earth is squashed from the top, which makes the diameter from equator to equator to be higher than the width of poles to poles. The bulging shape of the earth at the equator is due to configuration force during rotation of the earth.
