Null hypothesis: The mean working time for the workers in the factory is 6 hours.

Alternative hypothesis: The mean working time for the workers in the factory is not 6 hours.

Ho:μ=6H_o:\mu= 6

Ha:μ6H_a:\mu\neq 6


Note that these hypotheses constitute a two-tailed test.
