The number of patients are {3,4,5,6,7} occurring with the probabilities {0.15,0.20,0.25,0.2,0.2}

The Mean number of Patients is

=3(0.15)+4(0.20)+5(0.25)+6(0.2)+7(0.2)=0.45+0.8+1.25+1.2+1.4=5.1=3(0.15)+4(0.20)+5(0.25)+6(0.2)+7(0.2)\\=0.45+0.8+1.25+1.2+1.4\\=5.1
