The margin of error in estimating a population mean equals: m - z*sigma, m + z*sigma m - mean sigma - standard deviation z - -score for the desired confidence-level probability ( for confidence interval of 95% z = 1.96 ) in our case sigma = Sqrt[0.25] = 0.5 the margin of error in estimating a population mean equals: [50 - 1.96*0.5,& 50 + 1.96*0.5] = [49.02, 50.98 ] Answer:& [49.02, 50.98 ]
