There are 4 outcomes you want (the 4 aces). There are 52 outcomes possible (the 52 cards). There are 48 outcomes you don't want (the 48 cards that aren't aces). The probability of drawing an ace is 4/52 or 1/13. There is inverse relationship between probability of drawing an ace& and average number.& => => The average number of cards you need to draw before you get an ace is 13.
