I'm in a weekly football pool where you pick all 16 NFL games every week, there are 6 weeks left (96 games.) I'm in 5th place with 75 pts, 4th place is 82, 3rd place is 86, 2 place is 89 and 1st place is 93. The 1st place person says that the probability of me beating him is affected by the other 3 players between us. Other words I would have to beat three other to get to him. is this true?
