(i) Let E be the event of getting an even number.

E={2,4,6}E=\{2,4,6\}

P(E)=36=12P(E)=\dfrac{3}{6}=\dfrac{1}{2}

(ii) Let G be the event of getting a number greater than 4.

G={5,6}G=\{5,6\}

P(G)=26=13P(G)=\dfrac{2}{6}=\dfrac{1}{3}
