P(A) not occuring (10.50)=0.50(1-0.50)=0.50

P(B) not occuring (10.60)=0.40(1-0.60)=0.40


Hence probability that neither event A nor event B will occur is (0.50×0.40)=0.20(0.50×0.40)=0.20
