Axial symmetry, symmetry with respect to the axis is a transformation in which the set of fixed points is a line called the axis of symmetry. We know that if we bend the circle in half, we will get semicircles equal to each other, and the straight line in which we bend - the axis of symmetry. However, we can bend the circle from other sides, but the result will not change.
The circle has an infinite number of axes of symmetry because it is any straight line passing through the center.
