If y=xmy=x^m , then:

mxm1=axk+bxmtmx^{m-1}=ax^k+bx^{mt}

Condition for a homogeneous equation:

m1=k=mtm-1=k=mt

So:

k=m1,t=m1mk=m-1, t=\frac{m-1}{m}
