1. Determine the derivative of the following functions, and simplify.

a) f(x) = 2x^2(3x^3 − 4)

b) y = 1/(5x-1)^3

c) g(x) = (2x^2 - 3)^(1/3)
1. Find dy/dx at x=2 if y= 6u^2 - 11 and u= 3x^2 + 2

2. Use implicit differentiation to find dy/dx for xy^2 - yx^2 = 3xy.
How to determine the volume of the function f(x) = 3/2sin(x) rotated around the x-axis from (0, pi). The slice is a semi-circle. Thank you!
Hello Expert Sir please solve the following question
suppose we have a quadratic equation x^2-bx+2=0 whose roots are consective integers then what is descrimenant in this case.I tried to solve it and supposed two consective roots are n and n+1 then then sum of roots =2n+1 and product of roots=n^2+n then i formed a quadratic equation whose descriminant is 1 but not sure.I will be patient for your reply.Best regards
How to determine area and volume of the function f(x)= 2+ sin(x) rotated around the x axis from (0,2pi) ? The slice is a circle.
2. (a) when it rains on the surface z= (1/x) + (1/y) +xy at what point(s) will a puddle(s) of water form?
(b) use a computer to produce a graph that supports your analysis in part (a)
1. use a computer to graph the surface z=x^2 + y^4 and its tangent plane and normal line at (1,1,2) on the same screen. choose a domain and viewpoint so that you get good view of all three objects.
1. Find the equation of the plane that passes through the line of intersection of the planes 4x − 3y − z − 1 = 0 and 2x + 4y + z − 5 = 0 and passes through A(1, -3, 2).

2. Find the equation of the plane that passes through the line of intersection of the planes 4x − 3y − z − 1 = 0 and 2x + 4y + z − 5 = 0 and parallel to the x− axis.
