My sum is below i keep getting two different answers, which is right and why please
0.79 x 72 + 2.52 x 1.25=60.03
0.79 x 72 + 2.52 x 1.25=74.25

The first sum is right (0.79 x72 + 2.52 x 1.25=60.03) because at first you need tofind products (0.79 x 72) and(2.52 x 1.25). Andthenaddthe results. It's caused by priority of mathematical operations. If there're no braces the multiplication goes before the addition.
