Let's consider y=3x+2,3<x<1y=3x+2, -3<x<1 . Find the values at the ends : x=3    y=7;x=1    y=5x=-3\implies y=-7; x=1\implies y=5 . Also the points (0;2),(2/3;0)(0;2), (-2/3;0) belong to this graph

Let's consider y=2x+5,1<x<4y=-2x+5, 1<x<4 . Find the values at the ends : x=1    y=3;x=4    y=3x=1\implies y=3; x=4\implies y=-3 . Also the point (2,5;0)(2,5;0) belong to this graph
