$x_m=5x+3$

$y_m=9x-25$

If m is the midpoint of xy,then;

$x_m=y_m$

Hence;

$5x+3=9x-25$

$4x=28$

$x=7$

By substitution;

$x_m=5x+3=5(7)+3=38$

$y_m=9x-25=9(7)-25=38$

But;

$xy=x_m+y_m$

$xy=38+38=76$

Answer;

$x=7$

$x_m=38$

$y_m=38$

$xy=76$
