Solution.

(xh)2=4p(yk)(x-h)^2 = 4p(y-k)

where (h,k)vertex(h,k) - vertex, so in our case it is (0,0)(0,0) and distance from vertex to focus is pp = -2

(x0)2=4(2)(y0)(x-0)^2 = 4*(-2)*(y-0)

x2=8yx^2 = -8y

y=1/8x2y =- 1/8 * x^2

Answer: y=1/8x2y = -1/8 * x^2
