by the graph, at X=5 minutes, Y=15°F\degree F , or five minutes after freezer was turn on.

But it is given that the temperature was actually 3°F3\degree F from what the trend line shows, it means that the actual temperature could be 3°F\degree F more or 3°F3\degree F less than the predicted temperature of 15°F\degree F .


thus,

actual temperature is : 15°F±3°F\degree F \pm 3\degree F


so the actual temperature is : 18°For12°F\degree F or 12\degree F
