slope(m) of the line that passes through points A(x1 , x2) amd B(y1 , y2) is

slope(m) = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)

here we have A(-4 , 7) and B(3 , -2) so x1= -4 , x2=7 and y1=3 , y2= -2

now use the formula of slope:

slope(m) = (-2-3)/(7-(-4))

m = (-5)/(7+4)

m = -5/11

m = -0.454545
