Considering a primary school textbook chapter on decimal fractions and looking at other chapters on concepts that would be linked with this concept. We come to conclusion that the sequence of linked concepts, as given in the textbook is based on how an adult thinks a child should learn. If it were to be child centred curriculum, fractions and decimals should go hand in hand and both the concepts should be taught one after another, fraction followed by decimals. This should be the sequence how fraction and decimals should be taught.
