1.The slope of Conveyor 1 is $\tan \alpha=5/5=1$,

$\alpha = \arctan(1) = 45\degree$ .

2.The slope of Conveyor 2 is $\tan\beta = -14/7 =- 2$,

$\beta = \arctan(-2) \approx -63.4\degree$.

It means the second conveyor belt is steeper.
