Answer to Question #24521 in Abstract Algebra for Clut

Question #24521
Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to calculate something in Excel. It's basically an acceleration question.

I have 3 numbers.
1) Current Speed.
2) Current Acceleration
3) Acceleration Growth.

Current Speed = 1.
Current Acceleration = 1, so each turn, the speed will increase by the current acceleration.
Acceleration Growth =0.1 Each turn, the Current Acceleration will increase by this much.

I would like to be able to calculate how many 'turns' it will take for the current speed to hit X (for example, 100). Is this possible?

Many Thanks
