Management is a skill which the individuals who are running family and small businesses can learn on the job (Hatten, 2019). As a result of that aspect, it is essential for the administrators of family and small business to review the performance of the enterprises that they run regular in order ascertain the effectiveness of their managerial proficiency (Freeman, 2010). The appraisals should also gear towards facilitating the administrators to troubleshoot for them to understand the challenges the business are facing (Daft, 2014). Consequently, the administrators should conduct further research on possible solutions to the challenge and implement the ones which are most relevant. Spiritualism should be primarily employed when the administrators are examining matters pertaining the morality of the commercial decisions.
