Principles of scientific management and bureaucracy are still being used in organizations because of their ability to instil effectiveness and efficiency in the operations of an organization. For instance, the principle of scientific management emphasizes on the need for harmony and not discord is still in existence in most organizations at the moment. Furthermore, I believe that this principle will never cease to be part of an organization for it enables the management of an organization as well as employees to work together as a team towards the set goals and objectives. In addition, bureaucracy defines the structure of authority in an organization. In this regard, I believe bureaucracy will never cease in organizations for it formalizes the system of an organization. As a result, it enhances quick decision making as well as enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of operation in an organization.
