Certain job characteristics influence employee behavior and attitudes at the particular job position. Yet, not all characteristics influence the workers the same way. For instance, job characteristics model has a stronger impact on the workers with high growth need. Therefore, the level of motivation depends on employees need to grow as well as develop. This model increases employees motivation, for instance, providing skill variety, since individuals can build their opportunities and find more challenging tasks which motivate them. Next, collective tasks can also motivate employees since they feel themselves as a part of the one family or an assembly line.
