1. The covid 19 pandemic has caused closure of workplaces , this apparent for safety of the workers, in the prevention and curving the spread of the virus and in fostering the prevention of life.

2. The labour legislation does not make provision for emergency sic or annual leave.

3. There is temporary layoff of employees. In a situation where it is impossible to continue with normal activities employers are forced to temporarily layoff employees.
