Project managers within the construction industry play a vital role in all stages of a project and bringing all stakeholders together and operate in optimal harmony. During the planning phase, a project manager takes the principle role in determining key aspects necessary for the success of the project. Such includes drafting contracts, assessing qualifications for sub-contractors and workers. The execution phase requires dedicated input from the project manager as every aspect of the construction project must follow client's and engineer's plans. Also, the manager has an integral role of monitoring all the work within the site and ensure everything is on schedule. This monitoring phase is the longest with the manager working closely with supervisors within the construction project. Lastly, closure phase involves securing all the equipments after the completion of the project and handing over necessary documents to the contractor.
