Critically analyse the misconduct of public officials that benefited in the PPEs and the Covid – 19 funds that were provided by government. In your discussion show how the criminal proceedings or penalties were taken to those public officials in government.

Even as the world was still struggling to come to terms with the corona pandemic, some government officials saw a loophole to engage in corruption activities. These officers embezzled funds that were meant to buy the PPEs and to help the victims. Great penalties were taken against these officers such as having their employment terminated and paying heavy fines for the same.
