A car manufacturing supply chain consists of the suppliers, car manufacturers, distributors and the dealers. if any of these people misses the supply chain cannot be successful. A business of car manufacturing is very expensive and needs good decision making policies. As an industrialist here are some of the factors i need to improve in decision making during supply chain planning of car manufacturing.

1) transportation- this business incurs a high cost in transportation and therefore i should consider a favorable means of transport for the cars.

2) production- production has to be proportional with demand. therefore before deciding on the number of cars to manufacture considering the demand will be good to avoid incurring losses.

3) location- car dealing business needs a strategic place where there is enough space and accessing the place is not a challenge.

Atif Siddique faces the challenge of controlling the whole supply chain. Each stage need to be monitored and therefore Atif finds it hard to monitor what happens in every stage of the chain. A wise decision that he can do is to employ trustworthy people who will always give the correct information on the cost incurred at every stage.
