The control chart is a graph that is used to investigate how a process evolves over time. The data is shown in chronological sequence. If a process is statistically controlled, it is considered to be in control or stable. Because all unique causes of variation have been eliminated and only common cause variation remains, this procedure is statistically controlled. Even if a process is under control, it may fail to match the specifications.
