Please give two (2) judgments/orders where the National Green Tribunal has enforced rights or passed directions relating to protection of environment.
Given that the Green Tribunal Bill is designed to partially substitute the law that established the ineffective National Environmental Appellate Council, it is critical to consider if the proposed Bill would address the shortcomings of its successor. To repair the deficiencies of the previous provisions, the Tribunal must act immediately after legislation.
Be formed and appropriately financed to allow for the nomination of designated Representatives of the Tribunal with the necessary expertise and abilities and ancillary employees and funds to carry out its mandated tasks. Participants' freedom has been preserved, allowing them to analyze and implement legislative obligations and establish facts findings without regard for organizational or financial concerns whose activities and initiatives are brought before them for review.
