Using a brand of your choice, discuss any four types of consumer buying behaviors or situations
Types of consumer buying behaviour
Extended decision-making- It’s the behavior where consumers tend to purchase expensive products like paying four figures for a cup of coffee rather than buying the average price, which is economically reliable. Limited decision making- Under this behavior, consumers face little variety of products in the market where they have to choose from the available ones. For example, when buying a Techno phone because he didn’t find the specific Samsung type he was looking for from the market (Valery, 2020).
Habitual buying behavior- This behavior is very common in our daily lives. We don’t research enough on products with lower prices, reliable quality and quantity before making purchases. For instance, when you keep replacing phones when you misplace them because you get cheap brands, you will make it a habit instead of buying a decent one and be careful with it. Variety seeking behavior- It happens when consumers want to try different types of products as long as they serve similar purposes. For example, is buying black t-shirts from different companies (Valery, 2020).
