Perception management is practice of ensuring the information an individual intend to deliver is understood by the particular persons or groups they want to reach. Also, it refers to influencing how persons interpret what others communicate about other people. This practice is very critical for the managers who want to avoid making mistakes when handling people and events in the office. Also, perception is important since it offers beyond objective output, it ingest an observation and produces a changed reality enriched with the prior experiences.

With the present pandemic altering the way people work overnight, firms are trying to Simulate if working from home is really better or pathetic for employees. The perception at the moment of working from home is negative though the number of people that working from home is rising continuously. However, there are many other positives and numerous opportunities for alteration of perception while maintaining culture at present. Following are the steps and measures that will help the perception process. 

Stimulation; this is the start point of perception. If an individual is triggered, something comes to their attention. Smell, sight, hearing, tasting and touching stimulate people. The eye is the most common receptor for stimulation. Therefore, the first stage of perception starts with senses. Persons must sense a stimulus is when they perceive it.

Organization: during this stage, receptors in the body create a mental image of the stimulation people experiences. This is referred to a percept. Percepts aid in the arrangement of ideas in the people's mind with the assistance of patterns. Pattern in turn assists person's group ideas for interpretation.

Interpretation; when the body recognizes features and events, individuals apply their own biases and experiences. These individuals assess their personal experiences and associate it with their past. When information is interpreted, it is assigned meaning. Interpretation is subjective meaning that every person can have a diverse opinion of the same stimulus.

Memory; when body stores moments and events in the brain, they share in the memory. Individuals build relations between these moments and their personal experiences and beliefs. Memories can associate to good or bad circumstances. Normally, people may not be aware of these memories until another stimulus triggers them.

Recall; individuals can recall moments in their lives and assess them. Doing this makes them bring a perceived event to their mind to retrieve details. Every individual perceives activities differently from others. This qualifies perception as subjective. 

Conclusion

In summary, working from home doesn't pose major challenges to employers. There is no way to identify the number of hours an employee has spent working from home since the system allows flexible working hours. Information from other sources suggests that working from home is here and to the future.
