Use various South Pacific as well as international examples to discuss how multinational companies and/or international marketers can improve their relationships with the host country governments while lessening political vulnerability.
International marketers can improve their relationship in the host country by offering employment opportunities to the local citizens and therefore supporting economic development. They can also engage in corporate social responsibilities aimed at improving the social lives of the community by ensuring they have access to essential services. Mutual relationship can be maintained by coming up with strategies aimed at introduction of Foreign Direct Investment between the two countries through peaceful co-existence.
