In your opinion, under what circumstances it is appropriate to use project management rather than “usual” management. (Hint: Consider the definition of a project, complexity, scope, etc.)
A project is a unit of an organization dedicated to achieving a particular goal, usually involving the development of products, or services, or development activities. The complexity and scope of a project determine the appropriate management approach, and in my view, the following are circumstances that would require the use of project management:
1. Magnitude of a project; massive projects that significantly affect the organization in terms of resources or operations would require project management rather than ordinary management.
2. The risks associated with a project; projects that present many uncertainties would require project management because they can determine risk management techniques.
