Two main approaches to motivation
The first approach involves INTRINSIC MOTIVATION, this is an internal urge to do something. Originates within the mind of an individual
An example of an intrinsic approach is where an individual meditates and focuses on achieving a target. eg, financial or academic target
The second one is EXTRINSIC motivation. This is motivation originates from outside things such as material things. An example is a student working hard to achieve an academic target, upon which they will be rewarded a bicycle, money books, tours.
