As a matter of principal qualifications are fundamental in ensuring that new employees perform in their new responsibilities as required by an organization. First and far most, it is morally wrong and unethical to favor anybody on recruitment simply because he is related to one of the officials or favored in any other form per se. As a human resource manager who is professional i will not bow to any intimidation by seniors in an organization nor be directed on who to recruit. I will in the strongest terms possible disagree with the colleague and advice him to render a helping hand the said applicant to obtain required qualifications and apply in the future and will be considered on merit.
