The one size to fits all term is an idiom utilized to describe a policy that is broad-based and can accommodate all the different members or customers (Grammarist, ND)
A one-size-fits-all policy is very flexible, as it can adjust to any changes.
The major example of one size fits all is Facebook or WhatsApp platforms. The reason is, all the users access similar features throughout the platform
The second example of a one-size-fits-all policy is using the same schedule in reopening institutions after a pandemic without considering the prevalence rate of COVID-19.
