Contributions of different organizations to the community

Business organization

Under cooperate social responsibility some business organizations help the community to take care of the environment by sponsoring activities aimed at conserving the environment. One of the activities would include organizing fund drive to collect money for planting trees.

The business organizations provide availability of resources for rendering assistance in solving social issues. Essentially, business has at its disposal human and financial resources and is expected to make part of these available for use for social purposes. 

The moral obligation to behave socially responsible. A company is a member of society and therefore must abide by ethic norms that control its conduct. In other words, the company, like each individual member of the public, must act in a socially responsible manner and contribute to strengthening the moral principles of society. Furthermore, regulations are not always sufficient to provide a solution for every case, and the organization must behave in a responsible manner to maintain public order and establish better relations between its members.

Businesses also provide employment opportunities to the members of the societies. Through the salary earned from the employment the members of the society have the capability to provide for their families.

The business organizations also provide social amenities to the society by building schools, hospitals, churches and hospitals. Through these they are able to give back to the societies where they are situated.

Government organization

Ministry of health provide framework for the regulation of food, drugs and health service delivery and practice. This government organization is mandated with the task of providing health services to the people by testing food the people eat if they are fit for consumption and are in charge of general health of the public.

Government organization like the police service are mandated with the task of protecting the members of the community. Their main responsibility is to maintain law and order. This benefits the communities as the members are able to live in peace with each other. Through peace the members of the communities are able to prosper as they are able to go on with their daily activities without fear.

The court of law as a government organization is mandated to do justice, guarantee liberty, enhance social order, resolve disputes, maintain the rule of law, provide for equal protection to all regardless of background and to ensure the due process of law. This benefits the members of the communities in a major way

Non-governmental organization

The organization i.e. NGO’s help educates those section of society which was left behind in the society since its inception and never enjoyed benefits that government has facilitated them with. Such as women’s education, STs, and SCs.

NGO’s have given and are still giving their best in eliminating the gender inequality which has also been a practice since earlier times. Girls face many problems no right to education, forcefully making them marry, not letting them work outside the houses. Therefore, NGO’s try to eliminate this evil ideology of some societies.

NGO’s Are the reason why women are not able to move out of the four walls of the houses and participate in politics, business, social activities. now women have witnessed a whole new world due to the efforts of NGO’s and academic institutions. We have seen incensement in the number of women workers. There are many foundations such as Agrani foundation, Eklavya, Sewa and Environmental Action Group etc. Day by day women are seeing new opportunities for themselves due to the help of NGO’s.

The use of technology, level of production, a pattern of utilization is almost same all over the world whereas the world is destroying natural resources to achieve their goals and selfish reasons. That is why NGO’s take birth to keep eyes on such activities. There have been many health issues due to the overutilization of natural resources causing pollution which later cause health problems and calamities. In this case, NGO’s deserve an appreciation as they have done a lot to work for such causes.

Government and business organizations are responsible for the needs of the communities. This is because governments are formed by the people, for the people and to the people to serve the people. The first priority of the government is to take care of the people therefore it is its utmost responsibility to cater for the needs of the communities. Business organizations are also responsible for the needs of the communities since these businesses are run by members of these communities and also members of these communities are the ones who work in these business organizations.
