Question

I'm working on a excel worksheet with dates on a certain column. I wanted that when these date are more than 30 days, it highlight a color for the whole row. This is my formula: =$C1+30
but it doesnt work.. Just to let you know that I already have 6 existing rules within the worksheet. Does it mean it is complicating with my other rules? please help me on this matter. Thanks.
