Expert systems are also known as knowledge based systems. They are easy to work with and manage as they are easily portable and can work anywhere they are needed at any time unlike other systems i.e.human experts who can only be at one place at a given time.

Expert systems make work easier and save on time to complete given tasks unlike other systems that May take much longer to complete the tasks given.

Human experts are irreplaceable but expert systems can be replaced in case of any damages.

Despite the differences, these systems have some similarities i.e both systems can solve problems and they are good at decision making.
