n marketing we have CPA ( cost-per-Acquisition) metric system. It is more performance based since it is concentrated on the price of acquiring a customer ,not clicks made to be a website. The expert system can be used in marketing to a level of advertisement .It takes the effort of a salesperson expert to convince a customer to subscribe to a service or to buy a good. Therefore expert system in this aspect has limited use of making customers aware of the presence of the product through advertising. However for the awareness to be turned into recorded sales ,a human expert must be involved to relate with the customers and make them buy the products.

In Retail ,expert system can be used to record order status ,whether it is shipped ,received ,in the packaging process or cancelled. However it requires ,human experts to feed these information into the expert system and to update and in making neccesarry changes to the information recorded. Therefore human experts can work without the expert systems though not effectively and efficiently but the expert systems can not work without the input of the human experts.

Abseeintism rate in human resource can be recorded using expert systems in real time .It is extremely important HR KPI since it concentrates on the main workforce actions needed to establish a successful HR strategy. Expert system can only be used to record but the input of a human expert is needed to investigate why workers may call in sick, miss work or skip work. For this matter as much as expert system are important ,the service of human experts is more crucial.
