a) The company uses a product focus strategy where plants have high-fixed costs and low costs that result in high facility utilization.

c) environmental issues associated with the operation phase of breweries include water consumption, wastewater, solid waste and by-products, energy use and emissions to air.

d) Production technology mainly encompasses all brewing and fermentation equipments. For instance, machines and equipment for malt processing, brewing machines and fermentors.

e) A central manufacturing website enables the company to not only communicate to stakeholders but also to keep track of materials.

f) Heineken Ethiopia has embraced new production techniques and supply systems to ensure that the company remains vigilant in the changing market.
