Q1: As the human resource manager, I will engage line managers to gain support for the new policies and procedures regarding recruitment, selection, and induction. I will engage them in a brief discussion of the new policies so that they can start introducing them to the employees. Importantly, I will seek support from the senior managers because their approval means that you can roll out the policies out.
Q2: In order to determine the needs of future human resources you need to take certain steps which are; Firstly, assess your current workforce, create employee development plans, and create a succession plan. Perform a gap analysis and decide if or how to increase resources for the future. For example, have a sitting with each departmental manager, determine the needs of each department and structure the plan.
Q3: New line manager needs to undergo training to understand the organizational policies and procedures regarding recruitment, selection, and induction. The line manager needs to be trained on the goals of the company which should concurrently match with the kind of employees brought in the company. Training will involve classroom training, off-the-job training, on-the-job training, apprenticeship training, and training center training methods.
