3. This makes most of the coffee farmers work hard to produce high quality products, while others leave coffee farming and venture into growing other crops.

 3.1. The greatest happiness principle states that the least pain and the more pleasure an action brings, the better it is morally. From Mill's point of view, we ought to judge the ethical value of actions depending on the overall consequences on people in terms of pain and pleasure.
