i) Content- Automated production line consists of series of workstations connected by a transfer system to move parts between stations and each station performs a specific processing operation so that the product is finished being processed stepwise as it progress along the line. e.g filling and packing of beverage drinks by PepsiCo.

ii) Relevance- Automated production line improves operational efficiency, reduces production cost by increasing the profit margin with minimal cheap human labour required, enhances visibility and transparency into areas that need improvement through in-depth reports, employees are able to get work done efficiently and lastly it is of greater compliance by use of log records that can help through audit trails and demonstrate compliance.
