Knowledge management plays a significant role in an organization as it helps an organization to expand an its efficiency and save knowledge within the company. Although it refers to training and learning in an organization, it also comprises of a cycle of creating, sharing, structuring and auditing knowledge in order to perfect the effectiveness of an organization’s collective knowledge. In addition, it covers areas such as accumulating, storing and sharing knowledge. Further, these areas help it to discover, utilize and deliver knowledge inside and outside the organization. However, successful knowledge management will improve an organization by ensuring that the specialized knowledge of employees does not leave with them, or go unutilized by other employees who benefit from that knowledge. It is also very essential as it helps an organization to boost the efficiency of an organization’s decision-making ability. Again, with good knowledge management in an organization, innovation is easier to stand-in within the organization
