How can reinforcement be administered effectively?
For reinforcement to be administered effectively, the management should focus on behavior. In other words, to promote positive reinforcement, the behavior expected from the employees should be good as well. If one is causing disruption or mayhem in the organization, he or she should be punished, either through suspension or if they persist, demotion or expulsion may also work. Moreover, when an employee meets the expectations of the organization, the management should acknowledge their efforts aloud and praise them. This improves morale and is an effective way to reinforce the employees.
