Discuss five “As” of ethical decision making under the Project Management Institute (PMI) Framework and demonstrate the extent to which the framework is mirrored in Kenya’s frameworks for ethical decision making in supply chain management.
Project management institute have a consideration on some issues before they make decisions.They are referred to as the 5AS .The first one is assessment .It is important to carry out assessment as through it all the facts about a dilemma are gotten.The second one is having alternatives,in decision making its crucial to have other choices that can be considered and not just one.It is then followed by an analysis where the decision most likely to be picked is identified and tested of its validity.The fourth one is application. In application, principles that are ethically proven are added to the decision to be picked.The last step considered is project management institute is the action.Action is the making of the final decisions and sharing them out.
Ethical decision making can be mirrored in Kenya's supply chain management department of the project management institute. One way is through the fairness,respect and sense of responsibility generated and sustained within the supply chain management department. Another show of the mirrored extent is the good citizenship provided.That is a prove enough that good decisions were made.The department enjoys a success in meeting their goals an aspect which greatly relates to nice ethical decisions made within the project management institute.
