Why will the induction process need to be tailored differently for an employee being promoted from within the company, as opposed to someone being recruited from outside the company
The induction of a new employee would have to take all three stages of installation. Pre-induction, before the employee starts working, induction involves transitioning the employee into the workplace, and post-induction to assess progress. However, the induction of an existing employee being promoted from within will be different because the individual will not be subjected to all the induction stages. An employee being promoted from within may only be subjected to post-induction to help monitor their experience in the new role due to promotion.
