Suppose, you are working as a manager in the manufacturing department for a company in the textile industry of Pakistan, where employees are dissatisfied with the manager as they have no clue as to what is happening in the industry and exactly what needs to be done in this COVID pandemic. Things are going haywire, decline in profits and increase in defected products because of the poor management. Were you the manager, which approach of management would you use? How would you have done the management of your department, to maximize effectiveness and efficiency? Explain.

In order to maximize effectiveness and efficiency in the manufacturing department i will do the following.

  1. Making sure that employees are well treated. To ensure increased output and that the goods produced are of high quality according to the customers descriptions, i will ensure that my employees are well treated while they are on their line of duty.
  2. Ensure it provides employees with information on what's happening. To make my employees to maximize the output, ill ensure that all my employees are knowledgeable of how things are happening in real time in this pandemic period. Ensuring they are in constant communication with their families.
  3. Ensure that every employee is vaccinated against COVID-19. in order for my employees to see that I care for them, as a manager I will ensure that they are vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus so that in case they are exposed their immune system will be ready to fight the virus thus the production output will the maximized
